Illegible hrlp

WEB DESIGN @ NYU

I always thought that the Macromedia help & tutorials didn't work only on my computer. Now I see that it's the same at the lab. They are illegible............

Good news: latest version of the suite has corrected it.

For those of you who have to use the lab's previous version here's a work around.

Go to the help or tutorial page you need to reference, swipe through it ( highlight). cntrl c, open any simple text editor eg wordpad and cntrl v. Now you can read it.

Not very elegant but it works.

Gag me with a Spoon

It was suggested I post the link to the Graphic Artist Guild's handbook. This is a great yearly publication that contains a bounty of info regarding ethics, pricing guidelines, how to write contracts and tons more.

Here's the link to the actual Graphic Design Guild

This link goes to info about the Handbook

Additionally, here are some links to some great FREE online reference material regarding the web design process.

Good Job.

For everyone working with Photoshop for the first time. Please start off off with the tutorials that come with the software. Also please feel free to get any or all of the Visual Quickstart Guides that you think might help.

Heres a great link from About.com to a tutorial page called Photoshop Tutorials.
