It was suggested I post the link to the Graphic Artist Guild's handbook. This is a great yearly publication that contains a bounty of info regarding ethics, pricing guidelines, how to write contracts and tons more.

Hi all,
Great work today!
You all did your first Heuristic type evaluation on some sites.
We covered more of the pen tool, image compositing as well as using the mask tool AND creating text on a path.

Hey Everybody!
Great class today! We covered some really important design theory and many of you picked up Photoshop for the very first time today!
Good Job.
For everyone working with Photoshop for the first time. Please start off off with the tutorials that come with the software. These can really help a solidify of the basic tools and functions in Photoshop. There are alos tons of tutorials on the Adobe.com website. Also please feel free to get any or all of the Visual Quickstart Guides that you think might help.

Pasted below are some sites where you can get free clip art and stcok photography to start playing with. You can also use Google image search to find photos on the net.
